Sacristans
(formerly the Altar Guild)
The sacristans at St. Peter's are responsible for setting up and clearing away the altar and the sanctuary for services, as well as for the cleaning and maintenance of the ecclesiastical silverware and linens. They also bake the unleavened bread which the priest consecrates in the Eucharist.
