Acolytes & Altar Assistants
Assist at the altar in Sunday services and carry cross and candles in procession.
Sing in Sunday services and special liturgies; rehearsals are Sunday mornings.
Prayers for healing are offered on the first and third Sundays at the 10:30 am Eucharist and at midweek upon request.
Morning Prayer Ministry
Lead Morning Prayer in St. Elizabeth’s Chapel on weekdays, 8:00 to 8:20 am.
Contemplative Prayer Group
Join parishioners and guests to pray together in silence on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00.
Eucharistic VisitorsVisit the parish’s indoor members who cannot attend church and bring communion to them.
Greet parishioners and provide service leaflets Sunday mornings; collect the offering and assist people to communion.
Readers & Intercessors
Read Old Testament and New Testament lessons and lead the Prayers of the People at Sunday services.
Prepare the sanctuary for worship; care for candles, linens, communion vessels, and other needs.
Mission & Outreach Ministry Committee
Plan and carry out events both in and out of church concerning the issues of social justice, peace, hunger, poverty, and environmental awareness.
Prayer Team Ministry
Participate in the telephone network of parishioners who support people through prayer.
Welcome and Hospitality Ministry
Greet and help visitors and newcomers to the parish and assist with special events.
Coffee Hour Ministry
Organize and host Sunday morning Coffee Hour.
History & Archives Ministry
Help organize parish archives and record parish history.
Ministry Partners Ministry
Keep in contact with the Ethiopian Christian Church, who share our worship space.
Web & Communications Ministry
Maintain the church website, Facebook page, and assist in internal/external communications.
Work with other parishioners in taking care of the parish’s physical facilities and in planning their long-term stewardship.
Plan, carry out, and evaluate year-round efforts to involve the time, talent, and treasure of parishioners in the ministry of the parish.
Help direct the financial affairs of the parish to ensure that we are good stewards of our monetary resources.
Serving an administrative role in the congregation, the church vestry consists of 10 members of the parish and is elected by the congregation at the annual parish meeting.
