Our Rector

The Reverend François Trottier,

Born in Ottawa, Canada, and educated there as well as in London, England and Toronto, François’ first career was as a musician.  His graduate studies in Theology focused on ethics, particularly social justice issues. Ordained in Canada in 1997, François arrived at St. Peter’s as Rector in February of 2004 having served in parishes in the Diocese of Ottawa, most recently as Rector of the Anglican Parish of Fitzroy Harbour.

François is happily married to Nancy Ann Trottier, a native of Clinton, Iowa.  They have four children, Emily, Kristin, Emma, and Adam.  They also have a lovely Golden Retriever named Tobie.
