Rector's Greeting

Hello! Welcome to St. Peter’s in Cambridge!

As Rector of this exciting, dynamic and diverse community of people, I would like to welcome you to St. Peter’s website. On these pages, we hope that you’ll find a brief introduction to our life that we share in common. We also hope that you might be inspired to come and visit us in person.

St. Peter’s has had an outstanding history that dates back to 1842. Our present church is beautiful but not as beautiful as the people who come to worship and participate in the many and varied activities of the Parish. These activities include worship, music, ministries to those in need and ministry to children.

I invite you to consider what God is possibly calling you to do in your life which may include why you are actually reading this welcome letter. If you would like to explore that call in the midst of our community of faith, then, please consider joining us on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. or at our main Eucharist at 10:30 a.m., a sung liturgy with choir. Of course, you can always call the Parish Office or stop by for more information.

At St. Peter’s, you’ll find that our community is a reflection of the wonderful diversity which is Central Square in Cambridge. We greatly value and celebrate that diversity!

We welcome all to St. Peter’s no matter where one is in one’s faith journey. Know that you are welcome to join us and explore your faith within the community of faith on the corner of Mass Ave. and Sellers Street in Cambridge.

Come! Experience God in the hearts and minds of the people of St. Peter’s in Cambridge. Come! Experience St. Peter’s where we are committed to one another and the mission of the Church. Come! Experience a community of compassion, love and mercy where lives are celebrated and transformed through the power of the Gospel of Christ.

Peace and blessings to you,
Christian+

The Rev. Dr. Christian Brocato, Rector
