“The Word Was Made Flesh and Dwelt Among Us” John 1:14
In Loving Memory of Isabelle J. Waterman
The Nativity refers to the birth of Jesus. The story is based primarily on two accounts in the Gospels of Luke and Matthew.
The Christmas story tells of Mary & Joseph traveling to Bethlehem, where Jesus is born in a stable and laid in a manager. Here we see this traditional stable scene. Mary is holding the baby Jesus and Joseph is standing over them. A shepherd is praying at the feet of Jesus and the heavenly hosts of angels are above with the Star of Bethlehem in the sky.
